Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School, located in Collinsville, Illinois, is a member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod | LCMS and is the largest congregation in the Southern Illinois District | LCMS-SID.

Holy Cross teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; the Son, Jesus Christ, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.

Spreading the Gospel Message — Holy Cross works to proclaim the good news of the Gospel and to care for all people in need
Missions and Outreach — Holy Cross is committed to “go and make disciples of all nations” and to reach out to our congregation, our community and around the world
Helping People — Holy Cross recognizes the importance of caring for the body and soul, demonstrating the unconditional compassion and love of God in Jesus Christ through works of mercy and meeting the human need
Education — Holy Cross places great emphasis on instruction in the Word of God and administers a Christian elementary school, child care facility, new member classes, confirmation classes, Sunday school and Bible studies for all ages
